I myself have been approached several times by different scam artists. As you say they generally follow a pattern. Thankfully I'm savvy enough to spot these. Even when I was first initiated into the FSBO world I was very careful not to get involved with these damned people. I am still waiting to sell my property, or even to get a genuine interested party but I will continue to advertise everywhere I can. I was interested to read your article on scams.
